I used to work as a bartender. I came across a recipe for what is called a “Trailer Park Girl,” shot. This can also be made into a regualr cocktail by increasing the quantity of eingredients. I have to warn you; this drink will knock you on your behind if you aren’t careful. It tastes too good and goes down way too smoothly!
To make this drink, you will need vodka, (I prefer Absolut, but it’s up to you) Triple Sec, Grape Pucker and sweet and sour mix. Fill a shaker with ice. Pour 1/3 vodka, 1/3 Triple Sec and 1/3 Grape Pucker over the ice. Add a splash of sweet and sour mix. Put the lid on and shake it hard. Strain into a bucket glass filled with ice. Add a straw and enjoy. You’ll notice that this cocktail tastes very much like a grape Otter Pop, popsicle. I found this recipe in a bartender’s magazine that my boss subscribed to. One day when business was slow and it was just me and a handful of regulars, I decided to use us all as guinea pigs. When I made the Trailer Park Girl, I knew I had a hit on my hands. At the time, I worked at four different bars. Before I knew it, I was getting phone calls from bartenders all over town who needed to know how to make this cocktail because people were requesting it. Give it a try!

I really enjoy a good cocktail particularly one with a tropical taste to it. There are many options for this kind of drink, but I have certainly found a favorite. Currently, my favorite cocktail is called a “Cruiser”. It is a fruity tasting cocktail with a nice fizz to it. The “Cruiser” is especially nice on hot summer days or at a summer BBQ. It goes well with all kinds of foods and snacks. This particular drink is made with a shot or two of coconut rum, approximately six shots of orange pineapple juice, and four shots of Sierra Mist. I do not reccomend using the cheaper versions of lemon lime soda as it does change the taste of the mixture. This combination goes well stirred lightly over ice rather than shaken. It can be shaken, but seems to lose some of the fizz effect. I like this cocktail because anyone can make it and you don’t need a lot of equipment such as blenders or juicers. The “Cruiser” is also a fairly inexpensive drink to make as far as cocktails go. So, the next time you are looking for something refreshing to drink, give the “Cruiser” a try.

My Ultimate favorite cocktail is a Tequila Sunrise. Its the best drink to get wherever you go. In town or out of town if you have never tried it, you should definitely try it at least one time. You will not regret making this decision. When you make this drink you would like to start out with a highball glass. You will need some Tequila, Orange Juice and some Grenadine. Now make sure that you have some good tequila. Make sure it is 100% Agave. You don’t want to get cheap liquor and wake up sick in the morning. This drink is made for hang outs not hangovers. Now to make this drink you would need 2oz of tequila and about 4oz of orange juice. Stir the tequila and orange juice together with ice and strain into a highball glass. Pour the grenadine slowly into the glass. Preferably on an angle, you could use the end of a spoon so the sunrise effect is created. Allow the drink to settle there you have your tequila sunrise!! What a wonderful drink this is. Before you began your happy hour you could stir the drink to complete your sunrise. Sweet and tasty!
